The last concert of this season for Birmingham Symphonic Winds, winners of Classic FM's Britain's Big Platinum Performance takes place in the fabulous Warwick Hall in the historic town of Warwick.

This will be a real celebration of musical talent from either side of the Atlantic where the exciting sound of wind, brass and percussion instruments will combine in the finale for a performance by all three bands (150 musicians) of David Bedford's Praeludium for Five Wind Bands surrounding the audience in sound from all around the hall.

Birmingham Symphonic Winds with guest conductor Barrie Johnson will present a trademark BSW varied programme, opening with the thrilling Masque and displaying the virtuosic technique and fun of  ‘Tom and Jerry’ style music in Cartoon and then contrasting it with the reflective calm of A Glimpse of Paradise.

We are privileged to have as our guests Grand Symphonic Winds from Minnesota, USA with their internationally renowned conductor Matthew George. On their first UK tour, they are coming to Warwick prior to their concert at St John's Smith Square, London and will be performing both American and British music.  We are also delighted to welcome Warwick Foundation Wind Orchestra, an orchestra of over 50 young people with their conductor Anton Clarke-Butler who will be joining BSW on stage for the first time in this concert which is in association with the Warwick Schools Foundation.

Tickets £15, £12 concession, £9 children and students and £39 family (2 adults and 2 children).
